Investment Process
[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
At DWM, we adhere to an investment process we have characterized as PIM (Planning, Implementing, and Managing). The concept behind PIM is that investment management is a continuous process. Traditional investment plans tend to lean toward a static approach where investment goals are set and then investment choices are made to address the objectives of this plan With PIM, we believe that the investment model should be more dynamic in nature and address constant changes that are taking place both in the market place as well as in the financial lives of our clients.
We begin PIM with the planning phase. Our process includes personal interviews with potential clients to determine if they share a similar investment philosophy with DWM. During this phase we will determine the risk tolerance for certain investments and the client’s ability to accept he probability of loss vs gain. We incorporate a unique technology survey to clinically gauge the risk of loss that a client believes they have vs what they actually could tolerate given a particular market condition. If you do not know your investment risk tolerance we invite you to participate in a survey by clicking on the attached button to rank your overall ability to accept certain levels of investment loss.
Following the planning phase, we move on to the implementation stage. During implementation, we incorporate all of the date gathered during planning and create an investment plan that is presented to the client before an investment decision is made.
The final phase of the PIM process is managing. This is the ongoing process of communicating with the client about the status of their managed portfolios. Whether by phone, email or personal visits, clients are informed on a regular basis about the value of their accounts as well as the investment composition.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
